$260 Million Coal-Fired Power Station Project Contract Signed between China and Pakistan 19 Jun 2018

On May 26, 2018, the China Coal Machinery Company and Pakistan's Siddiqsons Energy Limited signed a contract for the Strickson 1x330MW pit coal-fired power station project in Block II of the Tar field in Sindh, Pakistan.

According to the contract, the scope of the project includes the construction of a 330MW circulating fluidized bed boiler supercritical coal-fired unit, complete auxiliary equipment and supporting coal yard and so on.
As the general contractor, China Coal Machinery Company will be responsible for geological survey, design, equipment supply, civil construction, installation, commissioning, trail operation, training etc. in the form of EPC general contracting.
In addition, the contract amount was 262.5 million U.S. dollars. According to the contract, the project will begin construction after certain conditions are met. The construction period after the project starts is 32 months.
