China Will Support Coal Mining Equipment Development, Popularization and Application 28 Apr 2018
Coal equipment is the carrier of coal exploration and excavation technology and is the core part of equipment manufacturing industry. Intelligent equipment technologies, including intelligent exploration and intelligent mining, can not only reduce costs, increase production and resource utilization efficiency, but also help achieve safe and efficient development.
In the field of intelligent coal mining, some innovations are emerging. No need to go to the scene, press the button in the control center, and intelligent coal mining and automatic monitoring can be achieved. Shaanxi Huangling Mining Company takes the lead in promoting the construction of intelligent mines with the independently self-developed equipment technology which is able to cover all intelligent mining of thin, medium and thick coal seams. It is estimated that by the end of August this year, the intelligent tunneling system will be installed and commissioned. By the end of the year, all four coal mines will apply intelligent coal mining. Lei Guisheng, chairman of Huangling Mining Company, said that thanks to intelligent transformation, corporate profits and benefits have increased dramatically. In the future, this technical equipment will be promoted in dozens of coal mines across the country.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will coordinate with relevant departments to focus on key equipment technologies, test demonstrations and promotion applications which are urgently needed by energy security protection and can effectively promotes the energy revolution, especially for coal field equipment like the intelligent geological drilling equipment, efficient green mining equipment, intelligent mining and washing equipment, disaster prevention and emergency rescue equipment, etc., thus to promote the intelligent full-automatic unmanned working face mining. By 2020, China will basically form its capabilities of energy equipment self-design, self-manufacture, and completion, and autonomies key components and raw materials.
